yes, this will be a hard one for me to post but i feel i need to. it's time. i am plenty grown up and just need to deal with it and get on with my life. in order to do that i must first admit my fear. my fear is graphic equalizers. they used to confuse and scare the shit out of me at the same time. i didn't choose to play a vintage (just old when i bought it) amp all those years for the cool factor, it was more for the ease of very few knows to mess with. now i am coming to term with my old fear and looking to defeat it. are there any good places on the webz that have tutorials or charts or some shit that i can educate myself about using graphic equalizers with? i'm talking about ones on stomp boxes and amps, 5 to 10 band. yes, as sad as it is to admit it i am serious.

Graphics are kids' stuff. They're problem-solving tools - is there a tonal issue you're trying to fix? If not, then the only rule of thumb with graphics is "if it (the tone) ain't broke, don't try to fix it".

You'd do better with a parametric than a graphic anyway.
